Sun-drenched swamps

On the surface, from the "Dead Village" we go west and go down south. Two men interrogate old Ethel about where their sister Myrina has gone. 1) If we accuse the brothers, they will attack us. 2) If we blame the old woman, she will disappear. The brothers will go to look for the witch's house, but will quickly die (task "Tea House").


Let's go to the shore of the swamps, we will feel that someone is watching us, we can use [investigation, sorcerer]. The lake will turn into a swamp. In front of the water in the basket lies a love letter.

On the way, a goblin in a red hat turns into a sheep. There is a tattered letter on the south bank.


Gendrel is a gur, monster hunter. In the eastern part of the swamps, we jump over the stones, we get to the Twisted Tree. We will be attacked by 2 woad warriors, 4 flying mephits. We are looking for an overgrown crevice on a tree trunk, a Letter to the Kage is hidden inside, we learn that the main girl druid is connected with the druids of shadows.

If you found a letter in the Twisted Tree, we return to the Emerald Grove, in the southern hall we talk with Kaga about her connections. White mice will run out, turn into shadow druids, start threatening.


  1. We help the druids of shadows to clear the grove from everyone else.
  2. We stand on the side of the inhabitants. We can convince Kaga [belief], [history, religion, belief]. She will also start hitting the shadows. After the victory, all the inhabitants will thank us. We speak with Kaga, she stops the ceremony, but she needs help with the goblins.

We go to Zevlor and tell him the great news that Kaga is stopping the ceremony.

We return to the swamps.


Tea house by the river

In the west of the swamp we will enter the house. Inside, the old lady forces the girl to eat a rotten pie. If you tell?? Mairin about the death of her brothers, then the old woman will not like it, she will turn into a monster and run away, and her detachment of goblins will attack us (task "Wise Herbalist").

After the victory, we collect potions in the house. From the balcony we go down to the south, we will see the grave under the cubic magic barrier, it cannot be removed yet. Inside the house we pass through the furnace into the cache.

In the cave under the house we will meet several clients whose orders were completed by Ethel, as a result, everyone died or turned into monsters. We need to go through a living door, use [persuasion, intimidation].

If we put on the Whispering Mask, we can go through the Crooked Door illusion in the rock, but Ethel will take possession of this hero. We run and quickly remove the mask. In the cave we will be attacked by 4 other masked men.


We jump over the waterfall. On the way there are several clouds with acid, we throw any object on the button in the center of the cloud.

Although she has now fully recovered her health, it is actually very easy to kill her. Just sneak up and push off the cliff.

A bug is possible in which it is nowhere to be found. In fact, she stands in invisibility. Use an AOE spell or a bomb on the area like in the screenshot below (or video). The hag will reveal itself but won't fight, so just kill it.

If you want to fight a hag fairly (and without a bug), then be careful??s so that she does not clone herself three times, which makes it difficult to determine the real one. Dealing a small amount of damage to a clone will destroy it (only a real hag has debuffs).

Shortly after the first cloning, Ethel will take Mairin out of her cell and clone herself as Mairin. The real Mairin will say that she is not Ethel.

The last time Ethel clones herself, she can become invisible. Use an AoE spell or an arrow to reveal it.

If you manage to kill Ethel with a lot of damage, she will not have the opportunity to ask for her life to be saved. Because of this, Mairin will be disappointed because of the deal she made with Ethel. However, if the hag is around 10 health and then your turn ends, she will try to convince you to let her go. She promises you any power you desire in exchange for Mairin. Succeed on dice checks and you can get both.

Selecting the power option will give you an item called Aunt Ethel's Hair that you can eat.

Search the hag's workshop. There are many valuables here (including an amulet - the Ever-Seeing Eye and a rare staff - the Staff of the Witches). Among these treasures is a wand called the Bitter Parting, which can revive the dead.

Use the portal in the hag's workshop to leave the tunnel. Talk to Mairin again and use the wand. Her husband will be raised from the dead as a zombie. You mYou can keep the wand, throw it away, or give it to Mairin. She will travel to Baldur's Gate to find a way to get her husband back. If you destroy the wand, Mairin will be angry with you.

And finally, you don't have to tell her about the wand.

After dealing with the hag, you can return to the overgrown tunnel and check on the trapped people. Some of them regained their sanity.

The smelly workshop

We collect ingredients, rings, special potions. Among the things we find Connor's Wand. Through the teleport we will move back to the swamp, near the closed grave. If we use the wand on the coffin, the husband will come to life in the form of a zombie. We can kill the monster, or give the wand to our wife, or take it with us as a summoned creature.

At the top of the house, you can talk to a frog, for killing a witch, she will show us a secret - a purse with gold and scrolls.
