Ubisoft is about to close multiplayer and online services for 15 games. This will happen on September 1, 2022, and will affect five parts of Assassin's Creed, Far Cry 3, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands and other titles.

In the case of Assassin's Creed 3 (2012) and with gamers will lose the ability to play some add-ons.

Ubisoft's official announcement reads:

Closing online services for some older games will allow us to focus resources on providing a better experience for newer or more popular games.
