Matt Reeves' The Batman Is Slightly Short Of 3 Hours

The new report has revealed the duration of the new film "Batman" by Matt Reeves in the title role with Robert Pattinson
Matt Reeves' The Batman Is Slightly Short Of 3 Hours

Matt Reeves' new Batman will be one of the longest-running comic book films of all time.

The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that the next DC movie will be 2 hours and 55 minutes long, including 8 minutes of credits. The latter, perhaps, indicates that the usual post-credit scenes await us at the end of the film.

A previous leak from IMAX Melbourne (ComicBook.com) indicated that the film would run for 2 hours and 56 minutes. A little wrong! But even with this inconsistency, Batman is still one of the longest-running movies made from anyone's comics (behind Zack Snyder's Avengers: Endgame and Justice League). It is the longest-running standalone Batman film.

Before that, the longest film was one of the parts of the Christopher Nolan trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises - 165 minutes. Looks like Reeves has a lot to say, and Warner Bros. gave him this opportunity.

Recall that the role of the villain of the Riddler went to Paul Dano, while Colin Farrell has already managed to impress the entire Internet community with his incredible game as the Penguin, and Zoe Kravitz played the role of Catwoman, who will also become part of the criminal Gotham.

The Batman is set to premiere on March 4, 2022.
