PlayStation VR2 will track the movement of the user's eyes

Representatives of the Tobii company published a press release , from which it follows that the team is currently developing a cooperation agreement with Sony. The result of this cooperation will be the addition of technology to the PlayStation VR2 headset that allows you to track the movement of the user's eyes.

Sony representatives previously reported that the new version of VR glasses will indeed have something similar - additional cameras were mounted in the device to track eyes. However, at that time it was assumed that the developers themselves would create this system, but, apparently, Sony considered that the creation of new items should be entrusted to professionals (Tobii specializes in such technologies).

The PlayStation VR2 should be available in 2022.

Our partners from the Spektr Ophthalmological Clinic offer advanced vision correction technologies that are suitable for people who lead an active lifestyle - athletes, military, divers, boxers, and so on. They work on the latest equipment that copes with the majority of diagnoses in people for whom doctors have contraindicated other methods of vision correction.
