Sekiro Shadows Die Twice: How to Get All Endings

In this guide, we will tell you how to get all the endings of the game. There are a total of four endings for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, all of which can be obtained by performing certain actions after fighting the Guardian Ape and the Monk. We will describe in detail each ending of the game.

Ending "Sura"

It's the easiest to get. After defeating the Srathaj Monkey, head back to Ashina Castle to meet Owl on the rooftop. He will say that you must make a decision - to be loyal to Owl or Kuro. Choose Owl, fight in two fights and see the final.

Ending "Purification"

After defeating the opponents indicated earlier, go back to Ashina Castle and meet Owl again. This time, you need to choose the side of Kuro, which will lead to a battle against Owl.

Win, and then do a few things:

  1. Visit Isshin Ashina to hear his conversation with Emma. Return to Kuro's room and chat with him on all topics. Take a break at any Sculptor idol and chat with Emma in Kuro's room to learn about how to shed the blood of the Heir. Tell Kuro about it. Relax, go behind the screen in Kuro's room and eavesdrop on the boy. He should tell Emma to do what she must. If you hear another phrase, then repeat the conversation with each of the characters, rest and eavesdrop again.
  2. Once this happens, rest at the Idol of the Sculptor, go up to the roof where you fought Owl, and meet Emma before leaving. Chat with her, she will say that she needs time. Rest at the Carver's idol and talk to Emma again. She will go to Tomoe's grave.
  3. Exit the castle through the window in Kuro's room. Go down a couple of canopies below and again find the window through which you first climbed into the Upper Tower. After jumping there, go into the room where you can go down. You will find yourself in a room with a giant in shackles. Optionally you can kill him and then runGo through the side room to the street. Follow the only path until you find the Old Grave Sculptor's Idol. Activate it, rest and go to the left, to the graves. Chat with Emma.
  4. Move to the ruined temple, go behind the building and eavesdrop on Emma with the Carver. Go inside and talk to Emma. Choose the option that allows you to ask about what you overheard.
  5. After doing this, you will receive a bell from Emma. Use it on the Buddha inside the ruined temple where the Carver sits.
  6. Returning to Hirata Manor, go to where Lady Butterfly was killed and defeat Owl again. You will receive Everbloom Flowers.

And then you need to complete Kuro's order by obtaining Dragon Tears. To do this, move to the Ashina Depths to the "Bridal Cave Entrance" idol. Go inside and pray in the small booth in front. You will find yourself in the Fountainhead Palace.

Follow the only route, kill the Corrupted Nun and go down to the water. Dive under the water and swim towards the rocks on the right. Under water you will find a passage to a cave. Swim through it, hide from the huge Carp and swim to the surface at the other end of the cave. Climb up, activate the idol and enter the building. Run through the corridor on the right with the monsters and open the door next to the chest. Outside climb up the branches, move up the stairsand pray at the very top and in a small cave.

The battle with the ancient dragons will begin. Defeat them and then fight the huge Dragon. To attack him, you need to move through the trees and wait for one of them to glow. As soon as you stand on this tree, you will be able to attack the dragon with lightning. Repeat the process until completely destroyed. When the trees disappear, dodge the monster's attacks. In the end, the trees will reappear on the location, and you will be able to deliver a powerful lightning strike. The dragon is stunned. Climb up his sword and hit his head to get dragon tears.

You will automatically return to Mr. Kuro's room. Talk to Emma. Isshin is dead. Get out through the window, jump on the roofs of the buildings and return to the Ashina Castle idol. Turn into the alley on the right, enter the building on the right and jump down. This will allow you to return to the Ashina reservoir. From here, you already know how to get to the secret door you went through at the beginning of the game. Enter the field, fight Genichiro and Isshin, and then interact with Kuro. Give him Dragon Tears and Everbloom. Sekiro will kill himself, but save the boy.

Ending "Breaking the Bonds of Immortality"

To get this ending, proceed in the same way as in the second "Purification" ending. But in pome? You don't need to go back to Hirata. Just visit the Fountainhead Palace, get dragon tears, and defeat Genichiro and Isshin on the silver field. You can only give Kuro dragon tears (there is no everbloom), in which case Sekiro will kill the boy.

Ending "Return"

In a conversation with Owl, choose the side of Kuro again and defeat your mentor. The following actions will be similar to the "Purification" ending, but move to the estate
Hirata doesn't make sense. You just don't need Everbloom.

Instead, head to the shrine at the Senpo Shrine and chat with the girl. Ask for rice, spend it, rest and go inside. The girl will rest. Ask her again for rice. If she doesn't give it to you, then return to Kuro and complete the ritual (with the blade of eternity). It is necessary to make Kuro ask for dragon tears from the Fountainhead Palace. Talk to the girl in the shrine, ask for rice. She must be sick. ask several times if there is anything you can do for her. She will ask for a persimmon. It can be bought from the merchant in the Senpo Temple (move to the Shugendo idol and move along the left cliff). Give the girl a persimmon and ask for rice. She will give rice to Kuro.

Go back to Kuro's room and give him the rice. Rest and take the rice balls from Kuro. Fromgive these balloons to the girl from the sanctuary. She will feel sorry for Kuro and she will offer you a way out. First, move to the "Temple..." idol in Senpo Temple (behind the wooden bridge) and dive into the pool. You will find the chapter on Worms eaten there. Give this scroll to the girl. You could get it from a man from the main temple, but if you came there before Genichiro was killed.

Then the girl will say that you need to go to the cave. Move into the main hall through the door to the sanctuary, go outside through the other side door and immediately enter the cave. Follow through the cave until you jump down. Turn around and see a narrow opening under the rock. Get down and follow there. Kill the enemies and in the dead end you will find the corpse of a hermit. A scroll will lie nearby (it appears there only after the girl asked you to go there). After one of the actions, the girl will not be in the sanctuary (you must rest). Move to the halls of darkness and talk to her there. It was then that she will say that you need to visit the hermit. Give the girl the found scroll. She will say that she can become a container for the Dragon Legacy, but she needs to eat two snake fruits - fresh and dried.

Find an old snake fruit. To do this, go to where you fought against the Guardian Monkey (the idol is on top, not at the monkey's watering hole). There is also a woman sitting there. Follow downGo through the poisonous swamp and turn right. There will be a merchant here. Enter the cave, move the only way, jumping and clinging to the ledges until you find the head of the snake. Go left and find the monkey. Use the Puppeteer skill (technique) on her. To do this, you need to secretly kill the monkey and press the strike key again. While the monkey is distracting the snake, jump towards the shrine and find the dried fruit inside (the dry insides of the monkey).

Find fresh snake fruit. Visit the Stenpo Temple, Mt. Kongo Sculptor's Idol (the first one in the location), go outside and jump to the right to the monk. Go down even lower to find a dwarf and a winch with a kite on the edge of the cliff. Use the Puppeteer's Technique skill on the dwarf to turn the winch and release the Serpent. We remind you that this technique must be selected active, and when killing from behind, you must press the strike button again. The dwarf will release the kite. Move further along the location until you pass through a room with three praying monks. Come outside, be attracted to the branch on the left, from there - to a thick tree. Jump towards the kite, clinging to it to fly further. Jump right down, clinging to the branches until you reach the cave. Inside, stand on a thin board and jump down to kill the snake with a precise blow to the head. You will receive fresh fruit(insides).

Return to the girl in the sanctuary and hand over the fruit. She will eat them. After doing this, get dragon tears (read the description of the Purification ending) and then return to Kuro's room. He was kidnapped. Go to the silver field again, defeat Genichiro and Isshin, and then give Kuro dragon tears and ice tears. This is what will allow you to see the BEST ENDING OF THE GAME!
