New parts of Far Cry and Assassin's Creed will use the animal simulation system ZooBuilder

Ubisoft has unveiled a new technology called ZooBuilder, which will be used in future installments in the Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, and other series. This system will take on the task of creating animation and animal behavior in open worlds, making them as realistic as possible.

The new AI will be trained on the basis of videos, after which the mechanism will automatically build the skeleton of one or another representative of the animal world. The novelty is designed to save developers from the problems when creating the same wolves or bears, which are constantly caused by the fact that they all have different sizes, weights and body shapes.

So far, ZooBuilder is in its early stages, but in the future, the technology could be a lifesaver for open-world video game creators.
