Deadline announced the premiere date of the continuation of the "Joker"

According to Deadline, the sequel to Todd Phillips' Joker drama is set to premiere on October 4, 2024.

The film will be titled Folie a Deux, which translates as induced delusional disorder, a rare form of disorder in which a delusion is shared by two or more individuals with close emotional ties.

The Hollywood Reporter previously reported that the sequel will be something of a musical. The role of Harley Quinn, the beloved of the Joker, can go to Lady Gaga.

The first part of the "Joker" with Joaquim Phoenix was released in October 2019. The film has grossed over $1 billion worldwide.
