Walkthrough Resident Evil 2 ReMake

Developers and publishers Capcom decided to please gamers and on January 11, 2019 released the official demo for Resident Evil 2 (2019). It is given to play for 30 minutes, regardless of whether you get to the end or not. We will cover all the puzzles in the demo.

Resident Evil 2 demo walkthrough

After the introductory video, you will find yourself in the police station. Go to the table in front and pick up the ammo. On the table to the right is a computer. Interact with him to watch the video and learn about the officer in the east wing. Turn around, return to the entrance and open the door on the left by lowering the lever.

Follow the corridor until you find a white double door on your left. Open it, find a switch on the wall on the right. Click to turn on the light. Search the officer's corpse to pick up some handgun ammo. There is nothing more here.

Return to the corridor and look to the left. The path ahead is blocked by a metal cabinet. Approach him and move him out of the way by holding the interaction key. You can turn left and enter the toilet through the door on the right. In one of the booths, there is a healing spray on the toilet tank. Follow further along the corridor. The door on the right is locked with a chain. Enter a small glassed-in room where screams can be heard, then immediately raise the metal shutters. After trying to save the cop, the first zombie will enter the room. Having dealt with him, run back along the corridor (focus on the EXIT sign) and leave this wing.

After the cut-scene, you will find yourself in a common hall. A black lieutenant Marvin Branag helped you. Examine the statue in the hall, under which there is a pedestal with three niches for round talismans. Find them all in the demoimpossible, so we will limit ourselves to only a few puzzles. Climb the stairs above and find a lion statue located behind the statue on the first floor. Examine her. The dead cop's diary contains a clue to solving the puzzle. Select from left to right the crown, lion and ram. A secret compartment will open, and you will receive a lion talisman.


Branag gave you a knife. Go to the grate leading to the west wing (opposite) and cut the yellow tape on the shield with a knife. Lower the lever and go into the room with sofas. On one of them are pistol cartridges. Go behind the screen and open the door. Walk down the corridor and inspect the corpse of a policeman in the corner. The door on the right is locked with a green padlock. Go further to the end of the corridor, enter the room and take the access card from the weapon boxes from the table opposite. There are handgun ammo to the left, and a report of events can be found on a table against the right wall. Go to the left of the table and take the map of the first floor of the police station from the stand.

The door is blocked, but there is a window to the left of the board where the card was. Climb up to him and get out into the corridor. You will immediately see a zombie trying to break down the door. Kill him, deal with the lying zombie policeman in the corridor on the left. To his left is a door leading to a room with weapon lockers. Missing two buttons on the remote??OK - "2" and "3". You can use it to open boxes #106 and 109. The first one contains film, the second one contains pistol cartridges. At the far end there is a cabinet with a shotgun. Apply the previously found access card to the reader. Take the shotgun and four rounds. Before leaving the room, you can find a note on the wooden table on the right.


Go out into the corridor and immediately open the room to the western office. There is a zombie on the table. Kill him, then pick up the gunpowder and instructions for its use:

  • Two units of gunpowder - pistol cartridges.
  • Gunpowder and high quality yellow powder are shotgun shells.
  • Two high-quality gunpowder - revolver cartridges.

In the room opposite there is a corpse and a safe. Code from the safe : nine times to the left, fifteen times to the right, seven times to the left. On the tables in the center you can find a report on operations. At the end of the room there is a door with a blue lock .


Return to the corridor and go to its end to find the stairs to the second floor. Below, on the right under the stairs, there are boards and green grass. You can pick up boards and use them to board up the window behind which there is a zombie. Enter the room on the side of the stairs, at the end of it turn on the light. There is a red herb on the table in the back room that can be combined with green. Can you please?Use the film in the tub on the left to get a commemorative photo of the statue of the king. In the main room there is a chest, a typewriter and instructions on the beneficial properties of herbs. You can also open the two vertical drawers to find handgun ammo and gunpowder. Combine two gunpowder to get pistol ammo.

Climb up the stairs. Search the corpse of a cop to get some ammo. Kill the zombie coming down from above. Go down the second floor corridor and open the room on the right. There will be a passage with steam, but there is not enough valve on the pipe. There are also four lockers, but you can only interact with two. There is a corpse in the left cabinet, a lock hangs on the door of the right one. The code for it is BIO. Inside you will find three shotgun shells. In one of the two cabinets on the right, there are more of the same cartridges.


Climb to the third floor and pick up pistol cartridges from the boxes. Ahead, at the beginning of the corridor, there is a cabinet with another combination lock. Enter RES to open it and collect five revolver rounds. There is a blue key on the table to the right. Follow the corridor. A big monster will appear outside the window. Enter through the door on the left. To the right on the boxes lies gunpowder, at the end on the floor - boards. Keep moving and look for a hip pouch on the table that adds two extra slots to your inventory. Is it nearby?apiska with scribbles. C4 explosives without a detonator are hanging on the wall to the left, and pistol cartridges are on the shelves of the cabinet to the right. Go back a little to find a wooden door between two cabinets (in the same room).

This will take you to the library. Walk on top until you fall down. Kill all the zombies and then look around. There is a jack at the back of the library, but it is missing a handle. Open the door next to the stairs to reveal a bird statue. On the stand to the right is a map of the upper floors of the police station. Examine the panel under the statue and enter the code in the form of images - a bird, a girl, a harp. You will receive a horse talisman for the statue in the main hall.

Return to the library and use the blue key to open the door on the right, over which the EXIT sign hangs. You will return to the hall. Climb down to play the final cutscene. This completes the Resident Evil 2 demo walkthrough.
