505 Games acquired the Puzzle Quest franchise

Major publisher acquires D3 Go!
505 Games acquired the Puzzle Quest franchise

Digital Bros., of which 505 Games is a subsidiary, has acquired mobile game publisher D3 Go! from D3 Publisher and Bandai Namco.

D3 Go!, which published the Puzzle Quest series, including Marvel Puzzle Quest and Puzzle Quest: The Legend Returns, will join 505 Games' US office based in Calabasas, California.

With this acquisition, 505 Games gained "exclusive ownership of the entire Puzzle Quest franchise" as it bought Austrian developer Infinity Plus Two, the original creator of the Puzzle Quest series, in 2021.

Clive Robert of 505 Games commented on the news as follows:

D3 Go! has done a brilliant job of bringing some of the biggest games in the Puzzle Quest series to market, and we are pleased to announce that the company has become part of the 505 Games extended family.

As we continue to develop our free-to-play games department, we've made our second major acquisition in two years. We will continue to offer gamers the best...

505 Games will continue to support the released games, and also promises to provide investments to create new franchise titles.
