- Save gunpowder and high quality gunpowder to combine and craft shotgun ammo. By the way, if you play as Claire, then you will have a grenade launcher. In this case, proceed in the same way.
- Keep regular and stun grenades for the final battle (three of each type is enough). Ada will drop a rocket launcher on Leon after one minute and 30 seconds.
- Grab everything you see, but be aware of the limited inventory. Every time you walk past a chest, drop items into it. Don't go back to the chests specifically.
- Almost any zombie attack will make the state of health critical. If you can play it safe then ignore it and just keep moving on.
- Make sure you solve puzzles quickly. It is best to write down the solutions separately on a piece of paper.
- You only have three saves. Do the first one when you get the green or red key (heart). Save a second time in the sewers, a third time when you first enter the lab.
- Move the bookcases in the library until the Tyrant appears. Make sure you align them and match??and with a hole above. Solving the puzzle is much easier if the Tyrant is not chasing you.
