Villeneuve's 'Dune' Final Trailer Emphasizes This Film Is Just The Beginning

Denis Villeneuve's long-awaited film "Dune" will be released in October, and now it's time to show the final trailer
Villeneuve's 'Dune' Final Trailer Emphasizes This Film Is Just The Beginning

In fact, there aren't many new footage from Villeneuve 's Dune in the trailer: we've seen most of it in previously released videos.

We remind you that Villeneuve's Dune will be released in theaters and HBO Max on October 22, so this trailer is the last one before the direct release. This latest video takes us into the beginning of Frank Herbert's massive epic, in which House Atreides faces off against House Harkonnen in an epic intergalactic war set in the distant future.

House Atreides is initially led by Duke Leto, played by Oscar Isaac (who recently called the film itself a "masterpiece"). There we also see Paul (Timothée Chalamet) and Oscar's wife Jessica (Rebecca Ferguson). The Atreides' sworn enemies are the Harkonnen, led by the dreaded Baron played by Stellan Skarsgård.

The final trailer describes the story quite accurately, showing how the Harkonnens attacked the Atreides family, who had recently moved to the desert planet of Arrakis. "It's extermination," says Paul. And it looks like that's how it will actually look like. However, there is a glimmer of hope on the horizon - dreams mixed with visions of Paul show a girl named Chani, played by Zendaya. She tells Paul that this is all "Just the Beginning". What does this phrase appear at the end of the trailer, that is, it is likely that Zendaya addresses not only Paul, but also all viewers, emphasizing that Villeneuve's first "Dune" will be the beginning of something more global.
