Insider NateTheHate released a fresh video on his channel, in which he shared details about the Spartacus subscription from Sony. This service will offer players access to entertainment from previous generation consoles, but there are a couple of nuances.
Spartacus will contain approximately 100 PS1 games at launch, with PS2 and PS3 games available at a later date. Games with PS2 and PSP developers will try to optimize better to avoid problems at the start, as Nintendo did with its Switch Online service. It is likely that users will be able to buy old-school games individually, but so far Sony has no concrete decision on this.
By the way, Spartacus will not offer major titles at launch, but will consist mainly of small indie entertainment from third-party studios.
We expect the official announcement of the service from April to June of this year.
