Walkthrough Resident Evil 2 Remake (Leon)

Leon's prologue in Reisdent Evil 2 Remake is no different than Claire's. Get inside the gas station, go to the back room and kill the zombies.

In the far corner is a box with a key. After taking it, open the door in the same room and get out. After the cut-scene, run around all the opponents and get to the police station by opening the gate. There is only one way here.

After entering the building, examine the counter in front. Go to the front door and open the gate on the left by pressing the button. Open the map and see where you need to move. There is a safe in the small room. Turn the lock nine times to the left, fifteen to the right, and seven more times to the left. Inside is an inventory upgrade. Follow further along the corridor. If you find the film, then enter the photo lab and develop it. There is also a typewriter there. Rise upto the second floor. There are several lockers in the shower room, and one of them has a lock. To open it, type CAP. One of the drawers will contain a portable safe. To open it, you need to press the buttons in a certain sequence so that the green lights turn on in a circle (one after the other). Each time the combination will be different, but the principle is the same. In addition, you can start with any button (bulb). Just memorize or write down the button-light combination.

Climb up and take the blue key from the table. There will also be a box. Open it by entering the DCM code. Search the third floor, enter the room where the boards are. Turn left and look for an explosive barrier. We need a detonator here. Go through the door nearby to enter the library. Clean up, go downstairs and find the red book on one of the tables. Also inspect the jack. Go to the next room and solve the Unicorn statue puzzle (look in the officer's notebook). You will receive the first medallion . We need to collect two more. There is a map of the second floor next to the statue. Go to the hall and talk to Marvin. Climb up and find the Lion statue. Set the desired characters, guided by the officer's notebook, then take it?those second medallion .


At the top, go to the east wing to get into the waiting room. There is a weapon upgrade safe here - turn left six times, right two and left eleven. Exit to the corridor and go left. Open the first door on the right that leads to the gallery. There is a statue here. On the right hand rests on the pedestal. Take it and combine it in inventory with the red book. Place the hand with the book on the statue to collect the scepter. In inventory, examine the scepter6tr and find the button. Click to get a red stone . The galley also has an access card , allowing you to open the vault with a shotgun or grenade launcher (for Claire). You can return there at any convenient moment (a room with a digital panel and lockers).

Exit to the corridor and go around the corner to the right. There is a closed passage and a place under the handle. Now you don't have it. Go to the other side of the corridor and you will see a falling helicopter. Get outside and go down. After the video, pick up the wire cutters from the shelf and cut the chain with them.

You will return to the east corridor where you were at the beginning of the game when looking for the notebook. Kill all the zombies or run around them. Find a door with a chain and cut it. Enter the east office, board up the second window followingwa or wait for the zombies to appear. There are various items in the office, but the most important thing is an electrical part (fuse) and a valve . Take both items, move the chairs away from the door and return to the hallway. Walk left to find closed shutters. There is a panel on the right. Use the fuse on it and return to the hall. Be sure to save.

Go to the west wing and in the room from which you crawled out through the window, cut the chain on the door with wire cutters. After that, the wire cutters will not be needed (all unnecessary items are marked with a red checkmark). Go through the door and find an electronic gadget on one of the shelves. Take this opportunity to look into the arsenal and open the display case with a shotgun.

Climb to the second floor, enter the shower room and use the valve on the pipe to remove the steam. Follow forward, go out into the corridor and find Slimer. Destroy it with a shotgun or silently bypass it. Enter the room on the left - STARS office In the room on the left, there is a box on the table, and on it is a battery . Take it, combine the gadget and the battery in inventory to get a detonator . There are other useful items in the office, as well as an arsenal with a Thunderhawk revolver. To open it, you need a flash drive. The red stone that we received earlier is the first step to reach??Zhenie goal.

You will need to find a diamond box in the observation room of the east wing. You can do this later (we will indicate when).

At the end of the corridor where Slimer was, there is a door to the laundry room. It is closed, you need a key with a heart, but you will only get it when playing as Claire. Open the last door to get into the room with the Unicorn. Return to the hall, save.

Follow to the third floor, to the place where the explosive is located (in front of the library). Use a detonator on it, move away and wait for the explosion. Go to the statue of the Virgin and set the symbols as drawn in the officer's notebook. Take the third medallion , kill Slimer or go around him. Return to the hall and place all three medallions on the statue. Climb down, follow the only route and the boss fight will begin. Shoot at the enemy until the yellow eye opens. Next, you need to shoot at him. Supplies are scattered around the arena.

Open the door with the rhombus and take the prisoner from the tableku . If you develop it and study the photo, you will learn about the cache in the gallery. Go there and get the hip bag from the indicated place. Go to the parking lot, open your inventory, examine the key and press the key fob button. Open the trunk of the car that has flashing taillights and get the upgrade for the Matilda (if you're playing as Claire, you'll find a unique weapon here).

Go back to the corridor and open the door next to the shooting range. Climb up and enter the nearest room. In the back room, there is an electronic part (fuse) on a chair. It also has storage and a typewriter.

At the end of the corridor there is a shield - insert a fuse into it and the roller shutters will rise. So you will return to the police station.

Police station (return)

Here you will need to go up to the third floor of the east wing, into the corridor with a gallery, and go to the left end to use the handle on the mechanism and raise the roller shutters. Go to the new wing. Downstairs there are two rooms - with a cross and a heart, but they cannot be opened yet. Climb up and enter the east pantry. Look for a large gear on one of the boxes.

Get out of here and go to the balcony. Go down the stairs. Shewill collapse, and Leon will fall down. Pull the lever on the corner of the building to put out the helicopter. Nothing will come of it, because the pipe is destroyed. Go down the stairs and in front of the door to the boiler room, on the left side you will see another lever. Turn it to position L. Go inside, save and take from the wall (to the left of the typewriter) green key with a cross .

Head back and put out the fire by pulling the lever next to the helicopter. Enter the building and find the Tyrant. It is IMPOSSIBLE to kill this enemy, so for the next period of time you will have to constantly run away from him.

Run around him and return to the site. Follow the third floor of the east wing, again go past the gallery under the shutters, which were opened by the handle, and go down to the observation room. Open it with the key with the cross to pick up the box from the table. Use the red stone obtained earlier on this box. Inside you will find an S. T. A. R. S token . Examine it in your inventory to get a flash drive . This flash drive must be applied to the computer in the STARS office, which will allow you to pick up a revolver from the arsenal.

Head to the west wing and open the recording room on the ground floor.this. Here you will find a jack handle . Go to the library, use the handle on the jack to lower the bookshelves. Move three shelves together so that you can walk on top of them. Climb up and go through, open the door and follow to the right. Enter the chapel through the nearest door and use the large gear on the mechanism on the right. The ladder will go down. You immediately take the gear. Go to the back of the room and you will see another mechanism, but the big gear does not fit here. You can go through the door and find gunpowder at the end of the corridor and Mister Raccoon on the window.

Return and go up the stairs. There is a mechanism next to the clock. Take the small gear and put the big one in its place. Climb down and install the small gear into the mechanism next to the stairs. The bell will fall, and after the cut-scene you will be able to pick up the orange box . Open it in inventory to get the second device part .

With two parts, go back to the parking lot and go to the isolation ward. To return to the parking lot, enter the east office, exit it and enter the room where you found the officer's notebook at the beginning of the game. From here it's easier. After reaching the isolation wards, follow the place where the survivor was. Next to his cameroy, there is a panel on the wall. Apply both pieces, then solve a simple puzzle by connecting the two entrances on the left to one exit on the top right. To do this, you need to rotate the parts.

Having done this, enter the cell, take the magnetic card from the corpse and other items. An alarm will turn on. Run away from here, shooting at the zombies. A video will play near the garage door. After the appearance of Ada Wong, use the magnetic card on the terminal, thereby opening the way out.

Playing as Ada Wong

Go to the corridor on the right, go to the stairs and interact with it. Ada will get an EMP visualizer. Using devicesoh, find a panel behind the wall on the side and activate it. The screw will start to turn. Aim at it and hold the shoot key to speed up the rotation. The device will explode, and you can go upstairs. Go to the end and do the same with the other screw.

Jump down and kill the zombies. Use the visualizer to find two devices behind the wall. You need to activate the one that has three wires going to it. The door will open. Go through and see the platform. Now you can't climb it. Use the visualizer to find the wire and walk along it until you find the device. Activate, then return and go up to the platform.

Enter the building. The Tyrant will start chasing you again. Activate the panel at the lever with the visualizer, then lower the lever and go into the next room. Immediately switch the same panel at the lever with the visualizer, then load the screw to make it explode. Get down.

Climb up and pull the lever to open the incinerator. Climb down and examine the door on the left. I need an ID bracelet. Enter the incinerator and pick up the bracelet. Annette will close you. There will be one minute to get out. At the bottom, in the right corner, find the starting device and activate it when the timer starts (it will be blue with a yellow spot). After this,Connect power (yellow wire) to each of the three devices above the door. To do this is quite simple. Reboot all three devices to get out. Playing as Leon (Sewer)

Climb up on the lift and go forward. Jump down into the water tunnel and follow it. On the left there is a ledge with a pipe on which there is not enough valve. Follow the other way and select the right tunnel. Pick up the video cassette next to the corpse and climb up the stairs. Kill the zombies and examine the panel ahead. A part of the device in the form of a boat (tour) is inserted into it. If you pull it out, then the path will be blocked further, so do not touch and move forward. Climb down, jump into the water, and from there - even lower.

Kill the monster you meet here. You need to shoot at the process, from which small creatures jump out. They are also desirable to destroy. Go through the tunnel and get out. Remove the sewer map from the wall, save and use the VCR to view the videotape you picked up earlier. Exit through the door to the next room and pull the lever to lower the bridge. Turn left twice, right 12 and left 8 to open it and collect the Shotgun Upgrade .

Exit through the EXIT door, go downstairs and kill the enemies. Pull the lever on the right and jump into the water there. Go right and you will realize that you have left the tunnel to the familiar fork. Remember this path and go back to the lever that was just lowered. This room also has steps leading down. There is a locked door and a pipe on which you need to install a valve. It is not there yet, so return to the room where you were earlier and opened the safe. From the EXIT door, go right to the very end. There will be an entrance to the funicular, but you need an ID bracelet. There is a table nearby - take the T-shaped device from it.

Move along the lower channel, bypassing the monsters or killing them. It will be great if you take grenades with you, you will get close to the enemies, forcing them to grab Leon, and then put the ammo in his mouth.

After passing through the lower channel, get out and find yourself in a room with supplies. Go down the steps and there will be a locked door ahead with a panel and an image of a king.

ATTENTION . Many players confuse the queen with the king. For the king, we take a figure with a cross on top, for a queen - with pins in a circle.

Exit through the nearest door and pull out the queen from the panel on the left. Go deep into the pantry, open another door by placing the queen in the panel on the right. Climb the steps, pull out the king piece and jump down. Go right again to the stairs. You have to kill the fallen zombie. Use the king on the panel on the left to open the door and pick up from the standchemical flamethrower . You can open the door on the left by moving the latch.

Get out and move back, taking the king and queen. Use the queen to open the door leading to the exit from the room. Use the king on the door near the stairs that we saw at the entrance. Go back and get the queen, go to the stairs through the other door and get the king. Get out of here with both figures , go down the lower channel and stick to the left side to get to the surface and jump down. Climb the stairs and return to the room with the storage and typewriter. You can put the king and queen in the chest.

To the left of the vault there is a closed door and six panels where you need to place the chess pieces. The bishop, pawn and knight are already in place, we have found the king and queen, so the rook remains. We used it when we played Ada Wong.

Follow the EXIT door again, go down once and jump into the water next to the panel that you activated earlier. Follow the canal in the opposite direction, kill the monster along the way and open the door on the right hand using the T-device. Climb up on the lift and find yourself in the workshop. Gather useful items, including film and a hip pouch . You?Walk away from here and on the left you will find a panel with a rook. Do not rush to take the chess piece. Instead, cross the bridge and open the door to enter the water supply room. Collect useful items, go back and open another door on the left hand. Both will need the key found earlier. In the staff lounge, move the closet to reveal a secret passage.

There will be an elevator. Ride it upstairs and open the door to find yourself in the basement under the police station. To the left of the door, at the bottom there is a glass case with an upgrade for the Thunderhawk. Interact with the locked box and use the STARS token. If you do not have it, then you can go up to the very top, take the elevator and get the token from the storage. There is also a pipe here - use the T-device to open the way back to the site.

Also note that if you opened the token by turning it into a USB flash drive, you will need to re-examine the item in your inventory and press the back button. Hidden inside is an upgrade for the Thunderhawk .

Take the elevator back down, pick up the rook from the panel and follow the same path to the north channel. Go through the tunnel on the left, go upstairs and return to the room with storage and typewriter. It's time to place the chess:

  • On the right hand there is a panel with a pawn. There is also a corresponding picture. Place a queen and a king (with a cross) to the left of the pawn.
  • On the left side of the far panel there is an image of a horse, so move it there from the middle panel. Place the rook in the middle and the bishop on the side.

This decision is only relevant for the first playthrough of the game (Scenario A) regardless of the character. Go through the door and you will reach a huge gate with a lever. From them, go through another door into the control room and inspect the panel. It is necessary to lower the fourth, second and first toggle switches (if you count from left to right). Both arrows must be located in the red zones. Try to get outside, but Birkin will attack you. Dodge his huge claws as you move around the room. The fire will gradually spread. Wait until Birkin breaks the shutters, then run away from him.

Run all the way until you reach the platform with the container. There is a remote control behind it. Click on it for the first time to make the crane move the container. Now you need to replace Birkin in the first part of the platform where the container was, and attack. When the monster falls to its knee, then return to the remote control and click on it so that the crane turns the container and pushes the monster. The first time the enemy did not fall??t down, so you will need to repeat the procedure in the second. Eventually the Birkin will collapse.

Before heading to the lab, you can return to the police station. We found the first button with the number "2" earlier, the second is hidden in another portable safe. Return to the storage on the first floor, place the key on the panel and open locker 203 to get a hip pouch .

Laboratory

Follow the only path from the funicular and enter the NEST laboratory. Examine the room behind the reception desk, where there is a typewriter and storage. Enter the security room through the door opposite the reception desk to find a laboratory map on the far table. Follow through the door near the entrance, get to the dining room and destroy the opponents. Find the stairs, go upstairs and go down to the kitchen. Get out of here and kill the zombies. Go into the bedroom, take the flamethrower upgrade from the lockers on the left. Interact with the hand sticking out of the window on the right to get an electronic chip . Combine it in inventory with the ID bracelet. You can now walk through the blue paneled doors (for staff).

Go back down the corridor and from the reception room go through the door with the blue terminal at the end of the corridor. Extend the bridge using the control panel and go to the center of the main shaft. There is a west and east wing. You need to go to the east wing using the blue screen terminal. Access to the west wing requires senior staff access.

Enter the east wing, look around the lobby and open the door next to the reception desk to enter the meeting room. From here, go through the door on the left (note the laptop along the way, which requires senior employee access to use).

Move on and enter the greenhouse control room. Use the terminal with strange characters on the right. Imagine that you have a dial in front of you, and press the buttons: 3/1/2/3 and 2/0/6/7. This will unlock both containers in different rooms. If you are going through the game for the second time according to scenario B, then you need to press the buttons as follows - 2/0/4/8 and 5/8/3/1.

Use another terminal to get an atomizer cartridge . Enter the greenhouse, find the door on the left and look into the testing laboratory. Use the device for mixing liquids on the left. Use the spray cartridge and solve the puzzle (you need to fill the test tube to the red level). If you are going through the game for the first time and have not yet had time to press anything, then click on the buttons in the following order: red, green, blue, red, green, blue, red, green. If you go through the game for the second time according to scenario B, then the sequence will be different: blue, red, green, red, blue, red, blue, greenth, blue, red, green. You will receive a complete atomizer cartridge .

Return to the greenhouse, go left, find the hatch and go down. Take the laboratory card (east) from the table in the corner. Go to the waiting room, follow it in the middle and find several corpses. There is a trophy on the table, and on its back wall you can find a code for a terminal with strange symbols. However, we have already entered the correct combinations, so the trophy will be marked with a red tick.

Go through the far door, at the end of the corridor, and you will have to kill two Lickers. You can just run away from them. Climb up the stairs, enter the room and find the signal modulator on the left. Open the other door to find yourself in the east wing lobby.

Return to the bedroom where you found the electronic chip. There is a switch on the wall. Examine it and see the inscription MUF. Open the signal modulator in your inventory, switch to the MUF (see above) and adjust the waves so that they are aligned with each other. After that, apply the tuned modulator to the switch in the wall, which will allow you to supply electricity. The shutters on the side will open, a zombie will fall out. Kill him and take the hip pouch from the bed. If you found all the previous ones?? (six in total), then max out your inventory by earning the achievement.

Now go to the recreation area, going down through the hatch of the greenhouse, and then look for a terminal labeled MURF. Adjust the signal modulator in your inventory by matching all the waves at the MURF frequency, then apply. Thanks to this, electricity will appear in this wing. Enter the server room where you can save. After that, move to the low-temperature testing laboratory. Read the message on the PC along the way, and then apply the solution cartridge to the device. After cooling it, you will receive a herbicide cartridge . Return to the greenhouse control room and place this cartridge in the console to get rid of the thickets.

Go to the greenhouse and on the right side find the corpse, next to which lies an electronic chip . Combine it with an ID bracelet to get senior employee access. On the way back to the meeting room, you can read the letter on the laptop.

Head back to the main shaft and use the purple screen terminal. Go to the west wing and pick up a video cassette near the corpse of a soldier. In the first room, in the right corner, there is an OSS terminal. Tune the signal modulator to the appropriate wave and apply itand the terminal to turn on the light. After that, this device will no longer be needed.

Go deep into the wing and pick up a test tube with the G-virus. Go back, watch the videos, then enter the elevator. Make your way past the opponents until the Tyrant stops you. Eventually, you will find yourself in front of a large lift. Take everything you have. A revolver and cartridges for it are very useful. Pick up the power element and place it in the lift control panel.

When you go down, the battle against the Tyrant will begin. Run away from him, periodically shooting in the head. In the end, he will get angry, and two stones will fall from above. You can hide behind them from the Tyrant. When the Tyrant starts to get angry and yell loudly, then select a revolver and shoot a few times in the head to interrupt his charged attack. You can dodge it on easy difficulty, but you can't dodge it on hard. Therefore, the only option is to shoot a revolver in the head.
